A supporting cast is listed on the official page as well. Avida, voiced by Akemi Okamura, is a former jazz singer, Weak's old flame and now the wife of a Kang Tao executive. Is Lucy in Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2?

Every official statement describes the new series as standalone with "a brand-new cast of characters," in the words of the July 2025 announcement, and neither the August 2026 premiere announcement nor the cyberpunk.net cast page names her.
The same 2025 announcement says "David's story might be over, but there's plenty more to discover in Night City." That line is about David. It says nothing about Lucy. At that panel, Lucy's English voice actor Emi Lo sat alongside David's, Zach Aguilar, and the one remark about Lucy that came out of it is a reporter's account, not a published statement (it is in the reveal below because it spoils season 1).
