You bring back a girl from the bar, unbeknownst to you she’s an assassin who wants to kill you
About the Spy x Family world
Spy x Family is Tatsuya Endo's action comedy about a master spy and a professional assassin who marry for convenience, each hiding their real job from the other. Set in the Cold War–style city of Berlint, it mixes secret missions with everyday family chaos.
The spy needs a family for his mission, the assassin needs a husband to avoid suspicion, and their adopted daughter Anya can secretly read minds, so she is the only one who knows the whole truth.
The world
Two rival nations, Westalis and Ostania, keep an uneasy peace. Westalis's top agent, codenamed Twilight, is ordered to get close to a dangerous politician through the elite Eden Academy, which means building a family fast. Ostania's secret police hunt spies, and the Garden, an underground group of assassins, takes jobs no one talks about.
Key characters
- Loid Forger (Twilight) – a meticulous spy who plans for everything except feelings.
- Yor Forger (Thorn Princess) – a gentle, awkward city hall clerk who is also a deadly assassin.
- Anya Forger – their adopted daughter, a telepath who loves spy cartoons.
- Fiona Frost (Nightfall) – Twilight's cool, expressionless colleague, hopelessly in love with him.
- Yuri Briar – Yor's devoted younger brother, a secret police officer.
