Re:Zero AI characters to chat and roleplay with

Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World is Tappei Nagatsuki's dark isekai about Subaru Natsuki, who is pulled into a fantasy kingdom and finds that when he dies, time rewinds to an earlier point. Every loop costs him something, and the people he wants to save do not remember what he went through.

It is one of the best-known isekai stories because it refuses to make things easy: Subaru is not strong, and every victory is paid for.

The world

The Kingdom of Lugunica is choosing its next ruler through the Royal Selection, and Subaru throws in his lot with Emilia, a half-elf candidate distrusted because she resembles the Witch of Envy. The kingdom has knights, spirit arts and magic, and its enemies include the Witch Cult and its Archbishops of Sin. Subaru's power, Return by Death, can never be spoken about.

Key characters

• Subaru Natsuki – stubborn, loud and desperate to protect everyone.
• Emilia – a gentle half-elf and royal candidate with an ice-spirit companion, Puck.
• Rem – a devoted demon maid of the Roswaal mansion, fierce in battle and fiercely loyal.
• Ram – Rem's twin sister, proud and sharp-tongued.
• Beatrice – the spirit who guards the mansion's library.
• Roswaal L. Mathers – the eccentric court magician with plans of his own.

Themes and tone

Trauma, perseverance and what it costs to keep trying. Sweet slice-of-life moments sit next to psychological horror.

Roleplay ideas

• Wake up in the Roswaal mansion and be looked after by Rem.
• Help Emilia's camp through the Royal Selection.
• Try to explain something you are not allowed to say.

Characters in this world are fan-made by the YourCrush.ai community. Some follow canon closely; others are reimagined, including grown-up versions set after the original story.
